Default 3M Paint Protection

Has anyone ever used one of the kits from 3M? I want to protect the paint under my seat on the rear fender when i get my parts back so i'm searching for a solution. Here you can select the individual parts you want protected or the whole kit for your bike. Its under $20 to just to my back fender but i cannot tell from the PDF what it looks like. Is it at the front of the rear fender just under the seat? Thats what i prefer for sure... anyway any tips or experiences are appreciated.

Based on wraps available for cars, so long as the film goes around the edge of the fender it will be hard to see that a film has been applied as there will be no edge to see.

So long as it is applied properly it ought to look like a good wax coating.

I have applied stickers to fuselages in my modelling days and it takes a good level of skill. I always ended up with a bubble or two.

Check out youtube maybe for someone who has applied the film to their bike.

Most of the auto detail shops do the 3M, I bet if you took your fender to them they would put any size/shape piece you want on your rear fender for 20 bucks.
Then it's properly installed and the exact coverage you want.
