Turn signal/brake light module question
I bought the conversion module for the rear turn signal to function as a brake lightfor my 06, 883. When I got it, it worked fine. Then after about 3 weeks, it stopped functioning. At first, I thought it was a bulb, changed and checked them, worked fine. Checked the wiring, etc. All was well. Finally gave up. Tried to return it to the dealer but, being an electrical component, they would'nt allow a return. I want to replace it but, am wondering if anyone else has had problems with the unit. Its the one sold by the dealer. Off hand, don't remember the number.

Sorry to hear about the unit having stopped working. I've had mine in for over a year and it works fine. Wish I could help you...

While I do my own wrenching and certainly installed the module myself, it's so simple, I guess that's the downside of DIY for electrical add-ons. Had you had the dealer install it they likely would have had to warranty their workfor at least 30 days.

I'm not sure what their electrical warranty is for add-on options, that's why I said "at least 30 days". I know that would be the minimum.

When I bought the smart siren it had a 90 day warranty.
