Default Iron 883 handle bars options

I am looking for options on my Iron. I had a chance to ride the new street bob with M8, and while it is not in my budget, I liked the more laid back feel of the mini-apes (maybe even roll them back a little more).
My question to the forum is what others have done here with the Iron. I am not looking for the "fists in the wind" thing, rather a more relaxed less forward leaning riding position. It is pretty expensive so I am trying to learn about different options

Can't go wrong with mini-apes. Very comfy ride and they look good too. Some people also go with the Softail Slim beach bar. Those seem to look pretty good too. There are plenty of options thats for sure.

I have Biltwell Chumps on my iron. Cant rave enough about how much more comfortable they are than stock. Night and day. They look bad *** as well.

Did you replace the cables? My son is looking to upgrade.

It’s not necessary really, but I replaced the brake cable. Just because it was stretching a bit much for my comfort. But I was able to install the bars with all stock cables.

Maybe you should look into risers with pull backs instead of a whole new setup, or even just risers to bring the current bars closer.

Pullback risers is the route I went with. 4.5" rise with 1.5" pullback.
My OL likes it alot better than stock. Here's a pic (a bit old)
that somewhat shows the pullback

hth,

All great suggestions. I really like the Chumps, but I am not mechanically inclined enough to swap the cables (I have ABS, so I think that could make a cable change even more likely something I would mess up).

With regard to the risers, do you have a particular suggesting of something that does not require new cables? I appreciate your help. thanks

I', not seeing the images. Please re-post with a few images of the riser and pull back. I'm interested in this for my Iron 883 and am hoping to see what it looks like.
