AGM or Lithium battery?

I have a lithium one in my Glide, but that is a custom application and I wanted a high performance battery to go into a confined space. They are coming down in price and are remarkably lightweight, but for a stock application I also would chose AGM. They are also high performance, though not to the same degree as some lithium ones. I suspect you will find that a new AGM battery will have higher performance than your original stock one did, so you'll be better off anyway.

I have a custom Yamaha Warrior 1700cc that i put the Shorai lithium battery in about 4 years ago. I have gone as long as 1 1/2 months without starting in the winter, and it will turn over like it's fully charged. I have never used a charger on it since new and it is holding up great. I don't think i will put one in my 2013 Road Glide because of how much they cost and i ride it most of the time so it stays charged without having to use the battery tender. I will probably go with the AGM battery if i have to replace it.

Your original battery just gave up the ghost? That's 11 years. Seems like that fact alone would be enough to tell where you might want to look when it comes to replacing it. The OEM HD AGM batteries are made by Deka. I would skip buying an HD replacement and save some money by buying a Deka. It's essentially the same battery but for far less. Last I checked the Deka ETX14L was going for ~$70 on Amazon. Compare that to the HD's price of $115 for essentially the same battery.
