This is a good debate/topic. I like these:



I can't imagine they are THAT much worse than another tire. Worked well in the 1970s, right?

They are the tires listed by 83XLX above me. I don't like that fat smooth look on a classic cruiser. I want tread lines, darnit! Are they really terrible when compared to a newer tech tire?

lol, yes, good pt. i just do NOT want that crotch rocket/bobber style rubber on my old Sporty, man...

Are you running tubes in your cast wheels then? I didn't see a tubeless version of that tire on the Avon website.
