I too have a temp gauge/oil filler dipstick cap. Much easier to work with than the stock filler cap. I like knowing oil temp, which is a bonus. Runs at around 160-170 F on the gauge in 80-degree temps with my oil cooler and synthetic Mobil 1. I check level every 200 miles or so.
