sportster seventy two rear wheel issue
I own asportster seventy two year 2016 with 25000 km. I recently bought a sissy ber and when I tried to install the new screws of the sissy bar I found that the rear wheel tire almost touched the wheel fender on the right side of the motorcycle, which means that the distance between the tire and the fender on the right is not equal to the distance in the fender on the left. about 7 mm deviation to the right. So much so that you can not put a tool to open or hold the screw from the inside and it seems like the wheel is not sitting straight on the road, in harley authorized garage they checked the bike and checked the wheels and said it is the way it should be and that's how Hurley designed the bike and In order to open the screw under the fender, rear shock absorbers should be released and the rear fender lifted. Which seems unlikely to me.. is there anyone here Who own aseventy two can check the distance between the rear wheel and the fender on both side in his motorcycle?
