He is. Reread post #1, he's waiting on parts.... so while waiting on

Im from the softtail section and I agree and was wondering if he might be interested in this .I am wanting more stopping power also ,Ive come in hot a few times and with down shifting and braking I barely was able to slow down quick enough to get past johhny laws speed trap.Rode my buds softtail and the braking was night n day difference with that rotor. The link I provided is for a sportster.I'm waiting for mine to get here, uses stock caliber too.

I also agree on lines,SS or good aftr mkt make a big difference over the rubber stockies.

Stainless pearl black front line ordered from magnum shielding. 4 piston caliper ordered for front (XR caliper)

As far as the rear I am looking to go with at least a stainless steel line and see how that feels.

This ought to stir some up. Ive got 110 HP and stock brakes. I bet I can stop as quick as some with all the aftermarket rotors, pads and what have you. I can lock them up. That's the best that can be done. Now the idea is to stop just short of locking them up. I can do that. Well you say I cant do it 10 times in a roe. Well if I have to do it 10 times in a roe I'm not riding right. And I am not doing it on the track just in the real world. I believe the 2014s have braded steel brake lines anyway. I think some do it for the flash and show. LOL.Welcome to the real world. Flame away. Have a merry Christmas.

I can and have locked them up before. Mainly, this will address the spongey feeling and perhaps give me longer pad life in the front due to increased contact area with the rotor.

If you don't already have braded steel lines you can try them. They will help 3 to 5 %.

Ive seen him before, he is very fast indeed. I am not going for a fancy dual disc setup. I am mainly looking for an improved lever/pedal feel when braking. The lines alone should alleviate some of my concern but I felt like trying out the caliper as well.

Go for it. It. It could be what you are looking for. I have just not needed it in my personal situation. Who knows down the road.
