OP...trust Kevin from DKCustoms...he knows his stuff. Also, like others state, loud doesn't equal good (in all cases). You may get the sound, but at what cost (crap performance & tinnitus). What's your true need/want? If it's sound then pull the baffles and ride-on. If it's performance, save for a decent 2-1 "full" exhaust. If it's the cool factor...can't help you there, but Bad Brad can...enjoy!

Another, 'listen to Kevin' believer I've used TTI's in 3 different exhausts; they do work as Kevin has stated. They increase exhaust scavenging, improve low and mid-range torque, and the exhaust takes on a deeper tone. With my V&H Big Shots Staggered the TTI's removed that bright overtone typical of a V&H exhaust and left a deeper resonance.
Those TTI's are one of the best bang for the buck upgrades you can get
Baffles out and W158's in my BSS's:

I have the full Vance and Hines 2-into-1 exhaust on my Fatboy, and I love it. Great sound, great performance. I'm looking for something different for my sportster.

Take a listen to this little vid I just ran across on Instagram-
You may like it, may not, but it gives an idea of what the stock exhaust can sound like.
Here's a vid of what we did with some Short Shots on a Sporty.
Still not terribly deep tone, but a bit deeper, and more power.
I do not have a video of any Rush slip-ons on a Sporty...but Rush Slip-ons have a great deep tone.
The Tri-Glide in the following video (last bike) is a Performance Plus Stage I with Rush and TTI's...it's a pretty deep tone and loud.

Okay, I'll say it a different way; gut the stock pipes. Search Youtube to find out how. BTW I just saved you about $500.
