Default Stage one done ???

I had to go to the dealer today to pick-up my tag and registration. Ran into the salesmen I used when buying the bike. I asked him about stage 1 and he said my sporty already had it done. How can I tell?

I'm alittle confused cause I have I asked if I would need to re jet if I got some V&H short shots, and he said yes.
Thanks for any help here.

My understanding is this: Stage 1 = SE Air Filter replacement, Exhaust, ReMapping / FuelPak / PCIII. If you have stock filter (not high flow) and stock pipes then you would not be at stage one.

[X(]BUT I am not positive and am sure someone will readily correct me if I am wrong.
[8D](I just added the SE filter and V&H HS SO to my ride)

The Ham can did not stik out anymore after I changed to the SE filter so yu may be set. If you do not have the stock air scoop attached to your ham can then you probably have the SE filter. If it is just the can and no black rubber gasket on the back edge of the ham can.

Hey dragon919,

I installed the HD screamin eagle air filter kit last week.

I can look under my air filter cover & see theair filter.

Before I changed it, the filter was totally covered, with the exception of an air intake opening. You could not see the filter.

Now the stage I also includes a remap of the fuel injection system. The dealer can check the system to see how it has been programmed.

The stock air intake will have a small square ram air inlet facing forward on the lower back. If that's gone, you probably have a stage 1 installed.
