Yesterday I installed a La Rosa fork tool bag on my XL1200C (2017). I was unable to fully cinch-up the two straps that hold the bag to the fork tubes due to the headlamp. I cinched it up (on the folk tubes above the lower tree) to where the top of the bag rest under the headlamp. It's loose and flops around a bit, but does not interfere with the beam from the headlamp. Does anyone foresee an issue leaving it like this?

 

None, unless you plan on putting tools in it.

 

Is there way you can attach it with cable ties to the tubes just above the lower tree? I have the Harley forkbag and used the small side loops instead of the mounts on the back of the bag, which were way too narrow(?) for some reason. I think maybe the loops had those stupid leather streamers attached but I got rid of that fairy crap.
