Hmmm... Looks like lots of ground clearance with that pipe. Is it in the way of the passenger peg at all? Looks like if you dropped the passenger peg down into position that it would hit the top of the pipe. What exact Cobra 2:1 pipe is that? I've been looking at Bassani but they are about the ONLY FRIKKEN pipe that I did NOT see go on sale over the black friday sale period. I wonder if they make a quiet baffle for this Cobra pipe. I like a loud bike but am still trying to be nice for my neighbors. edit: Oh wait, El Diablo... you already said. I wanna see what it looks like in black. Revzilla doesn't have a pic of the black version. Hmm...
passenger peg clears it by about 1/4". Passenger may leave melted rubber on it of not careful!
Yeah. I'm not very good at this internet stuff. Hmm... I think I like the chrome look better. Does it come with a removable baffle? I'm wondering if it does if I could pull the baffle and wrap it in fiberglass to make the pipe a little quieter. Being nice to neighbors sucks.
My feeble attempts as getting the end cap off (two screws) are fail, so I don't know if the baffle is removable. I am tiny and weak!
It is definitely on the loud side. 158 TTIs may help with that. If I ever figure out if/how to install them, it may help with the low part of the TQ curve and knock down a few decibels.
