I wave at all bikes. I have a corvette and most vette owners wave. some times when i'm in my vette i forget and wave at bikes but they usualy don't wave back. hell sometimes I wave at everyome when I'm in my truck just so they wonder who that was.

 

I still remember the first wave I got.Made me feel like I'm finally a biker.

Now if I could only make another guy on his first Harley feel the same, that's fine by me.

We're all out there because we want to be, enjoy it.

 

I dont know how long yal have owned Harleys But ever since I can remember If Im going down the road and I see one I wave If they dont wave first but sometimes you cant just likesometimes they cant How about we just ride and not make fun of people who want to be friendly

 

I wave at everyone, why cause I'm haveing a blast and feeling great and just saying "hi"

 

Jeepers wave to jeepers, big-rig drivers wave to each other and rv'ers wave to other rv'ers. Sometimes rv'ersand truckers wave at each other displaying that they're missing some fingers!Lowered crew-cab guys share waves as do surfers. When you are driving any kind of street-rodded vehicle, EVERYBODY WAVES AT YOU!
Since I fit in all but two of these categories, THAT'S A LOTTA DAMN WAVIN'! so I prefer to reciprocate by raising two or three fingers of my left hand off of either the steering wheel or clutch lever in a subtle manner so as not to embarrasssomebody when they realize that i'm not their best bud that they thought they were waving at. Sometimes I even initiate my mini-wave to see if i'll get a full wave in return.

 

This is America....we have freedoms that others paid for...take advantage of that freedom and wave or not wave...it does kinda worry me that I spent 25 months away from my family in harm's way and still feel compelledto make this reminder. Maybe it would make a good platform for a presidential bid.

I wave if I know the bike is a Harley and that's it, I don't even look at rice rockets or damned scooter/mopeds.

 

I only 'wave' at Panheads, Shovel's, Black Softails, Black Road Kings,and Lava Red Dynas.
