I used to have an 86 CJ7. The last year they were made. I would wave at other CJs and older jeeps but the Wrangler people didn't really have a jeep in my (and many others) eyes.Now there are so many it is a little ridiculous.

I still wave at other people on bikes if they wave first. I personally prefer the hand going down with a peace sign pointing down. How gay is that?????

Same thing happens to me in my Mini Cooper... especially when they first came out, not as much now. Every Cooper that came by was light's flashing!

I don't mind a wave now and then if it's safe and I'm just cruisin along.

 

Just because someone waves at you dosen't mean you are obligated to wave back, actually who cares if someone waves at you or not.

This post is just poking a little fun at ourselves. I wave too, but not often and wonder what the other guy is thinking when I don't wave or don't see him. And sometimes it just gets down right ridicules how many bikers I would have to wave at if I waved at every one.

I like the head nod better.

 

If they're nice looking babes waving at me, I prefer to stick my d1ck out at them to wave...doh!

 

I think waving is cool. It lets me know that the guy wayyyyyyy over there knows how awesome riding feels and he's loving it every bit as much as me.

Live is too short. Lighten up.

 

I know what you mean, but I think the "Wrangler people didn't really have a jeep" comment is a little broad. This was my last TJ. I sold her to pad the bank account and buy a house. My current TJ has a 4" RE SF lift and 33's - More tame but still climbs like a champ. With Jeeps, I use the mod rule. CJ, XJ, YJ, hell even XJs and ZJs can really hit the trails. I have buddy with an XJ that goes everywhere. AND it is his daily driver.
