The fingerless gloves being gay thing is new to me! Never heard that. I don't like the looks of chaps, but that's just me. I was actually considering leather pants for the fall and winter. I have the leather vest, looks awesome IMO. Also, never see Zakk Wylde without a denim or leather vest. I DARE someone to call that guy gay to his face! BLS Rulz...

Sadly this thread is is like a train wreck, its so bad but you just can't look away. Personally i wear my riding gear for a reason, not to impress or look acertain way. Was raised on dirt bikes, so gear was always used ,don't remember anyone looking or being called gay though. just my .02

 

I can't shake the mental pic of someone telling RaftGyde he looks gay to his face! Is that why people take a couple steps back when he walks by (especially in leathers)? They think he's gay?

 

I don't wear chaps not because they look gay or not they are just not for me there not my style.Why do people care so much about what people wear just ride and have fun who cares who wears boots or who wears a leather or not just ride your f-----g bike bro.

 

I work with an old timer who thinks anyone riding something newer than a Shovelhead is gay.
