Where I work short pants are allowed, I thought about wearing long pants to work than changeing into shorts, then back again for the ride home .
Its hot at my job, but instead I wear chaps over my short pant jeans, because they are easy to put on and off, they are warm when the temp is in the 90's, but wearing shorts and riding,means leg burns,(hot pipes) and lots of lost skin if I go down.

Actually, that makes sense.
Making sense is apparently gay.
I wear chaps over my shorts as well, from time to time, just like I wore/wear sweats over my shorts on the job at construction sites 'till it warms up enough to take them off.
I guess if you don't want to be accused of being gay, you've got to act like a freaking idiot and do stupid things and live like a moron... I also wear vest expanders on my riding vests when it's hot in order to let in air to my body while I ride, to cool me off; that's probably gay too... ...did ya ever get the feeling that some of these people in here hollering 'gay' are actually 17 year old or whateverinsecure kids who haven't yet learned not to give a f*** what anyone thinks about them; I mean, that's what they 'sound' like...

I wear fingerless gloves...don't really see how they're considered gay...they protect my hands well enough and they're comfortable.
Hell, when I laid it down and wasn't wearing them only my palms got effed up, so obviously full-fingered gloves aren't good for much more than the fingerless are. And really, NEITHER of them will prevent you from breaking a finger, so really, it's just preference and comfort.
That's my two cents.

IMO, HD leather gear is not gay. HD leather gear is well made, stylish , of good quality and somewhat expensive.
HD changes their styles all of time and I am rather impressed with what they have to offer.
What is gay is metricriders wearing Harley gear.
