no over on the Shadow site they just worry about bashing Harley owners in general,I know I have a Shadow also and they hated the fact I got a Harley basically (you meet the nicest people)
WTF can't people ride & wear what they want when they want anymore? Some people buy all the shizznit for a reason and some to look like they ride[>:]How many mileshave you ridden this year is the question? To date 7000+ in the past year on my 2 bikes 3200+ on my 06' Shadow & 3400+ on my 06' Sporty& I put 1000ish on the 89' Didn't get to ride much in Jan./Feb./March because of snow.I have 3 helmets/both types of gloves/leather & rain jacket & 1 pair of Redwings I wear for riding only.I wear thermals instead of chaps for cold weather but may get some to try them out this winter[&:]My bud does have a queer looking "Harley" leather IMO but they gave it to him free for buying his 04 1200C cash and he likes it. Oh by the way Dawn has a vest and chaps and looks good in themI actually don't hear all the bashing or gay looking stuff while riding and being around all the bikes and really onlysee it on the net mainly. Out there you are either in their crowd or your not no matter wtf your wearing or riding so why worry about it

 

WOW! Being a new rider, I never knew there were so many Harley Road Etiquette Rules (even that sounded gay). Think I'll just enjoy my new ride.

 

Harley rules:
If everyone wear chaps and leather jacket but you wear t-shirt and jeans, you are gay.
If everyone wear t-shirt and jeans but you wear chaps and leather jacket, you are gay.

Wow and all this time I thought a guy was gay if he had sex with another guy, all they had to do was wear chaps and fingerless gloves to be gay. I'll bet there will be a lot of upset gay guys when they learn this.

Where I work short pants are allowed, I thought about wearing long pants to work than changeing into shorts, then back again for the ride home .

Its hot at my job, but instead I wear chaps over my short pant jeans, because they are easy to put on and off, they are warm when the temp is in the 90's, but wearing shorts and riding,means leg burns,(hot pipes) and lots of lost skin if I go down.

If that makes me gay F**k it.
