Default Rear turn signals not flashing

I took the stock turn signals off front and rear. I put bullet style lights in the rear and so far I’m not running anything in the front. Is there anyway to make the rear turn signal’s flash instead of just lighting up without the front turn signals plugged in?

THANKS!

Load equalizers to simulate the load of the signals.

Load equalizers didn’t do anything.

I wonder if the turn signal module stops functioning properly without input from the front signals. If you just throw them in does it suddenly start working again?

I agree with Scuba's recommendation. Standard incandescent lamp TS flashers require a certain amount of current load (draw) in order for the lights to flash. The lack front TS lights is very likely the problem (i.e. not enough current load).

The rear do work when front lights are plugged in.
I ordered a badlands load equalizer, hopefully that’ll do it.

The manual doesn't go in to full detail on how the turn module works internally so I can't give any advice on that aspect.

I'm curious why the load resistors wouldn't work. They are the same thing electronically as the bulb. You could just take the bulb out and put the proper resistor in place and it should all be the same.
