Default To guard or not to guard...

Been weighing taking the belt guard off my Sportster. I do ride 2-up once in a while. I know the risks from stones, etc. But, I really want to bob my bike out. So, the belt guard would be an item to go. Do any of you ride guardless? Any major problems? No schooling needed here, would just like to hear your experience with it.

Thanks much!

Put it this way, if you have a small rock, it could still jam the belt even you have a guard. Yank it out if you don't like it, I keep mine because it doesn't bother me, always do solo. My friend took it out and rode for 3 yrs, never problem either.

Thanx for the reply Alex. I guess I just needed a little prodding.
