I think it has been said above, if you are happy with the payments then don't worry. Harley has a reputation to keep so they are not going to rip anybody off. They are like many businesses, but they depend on repeat business alot, so it makes sense for them to be known as trustworthy. I have a Nightster (Olive/Black) and mine cost about $1500.00 more than the MSRP, but I got drag bars and forward controls. Just to let you know, I get more looks at my bike than any other bike, including other Harley's. The Nightster is literally the coolest thing on the road! Njoy! Nathan from Houston

I was top teir with Harley and the cheapest I could pull was 8.9%.The lowest nationwide rate available on motorcycles(outside of a promo) is 8.5%which is likely through a credit union.. I was pissed when Harley ran that deal for 2.9,3.5 4.5% since it has only been two months since I bought my bike. I even tried to refi but harley said it was for new purchases only... In perspective at 3.5% rate with the same payment my bike would pay off a year earlier..

Thanks for the well wishes and replies guys. So i went to my dealer today to finalize all the paperwork. I ended up getting 6.99 financing. I put $1,200 down and i'm paying $300/month for 48 months. This included all service and extended warranty as well as an alarm sound lock, bike cover, bell open face helmet, HOG membership, two t shirts and a goodie bag. I'm happy with it. Afterall, $300 a month isn't that much money. My girl is just gonna have to get used to cooking more and eating out less
