Loud click with fuel pump
Hello it’s been awhile. I’m currently stationed in Korea. My 2014 Iron 883 with 1400 miles is having some issues. There’s no “HD shops” around here and what the Koreans told me is just take it to this one guys who “specializes” in HDs. Hmm not sure if I can trust him so thought I’d pick your brains.
I left for 2 weeks on leave back to the states. When I left I parked the bike in a garage and disconnected the negative terminal.
When i I returned I put the negative back on but in an excitement forgot to put it in neutral. Held the clutch and pushed start. Bike rolled forward ever slightly, struggled and died. Put the bike in neutral and started it and it fired right up.
Since then the bike had hard time starting. It would crank very slowly “whiirrrrrr whirrrr broom”. I just thought it was the battery. With the traffic here and my close proximity (3 mile ride at 25-30 mph) I don’t think the battery is charging between rides and the battery is slowly dying.
Today the the fuel light came on so I filled up. Came back to work and then after work I flipped the switch to on and nano second before the fuel pump started I heard a loud click (or electric buzz). And it started. When I got home as I was pulling into the parking spot the bike started to lose RPM died and the engine light came on.

(Strange my web browser would let me type anymore)
cont.
so I put the bike in neutral, turned ignition off, flipped it back to on. Again loud clock as the fuel pump started. Then bike started. Again it’s not starting strong and fast as when it was new.
Its just ONE click. I’ve tried searching but all the results say “clicking”. Does anyone know what this might be?
Im going to see if I can test the battery but I’m not sure if it’s the battery anymore. Thanks in advance!
