1200T rear shocks vs 1200C
i have a 2016 XL1200C. I have configured it with the same saddlebags as a 1200T
considering purchasing the shocks for the 1200T to make it possible to adjust preload without having to remove bags to adjust.
I do do not want to sacrifice the ride quality I currently have. Does anyone have any experience with both type of shocks. Your opinions will be welcome.
Thanks

My bags are bolted on. Going from solo to carrying wife requires pulling bags setting preload and installing bags. Looking for a quicker way. The T model shocks allow adjustment by turning ****. Do not have to pull bags.
Cost will be near 700 dollars
i want to know if ride quality is the same with the t model vs the c model shocks. If it is it will be worth it for me to change over

Cost is irrelevant since its your money not there's. I would say the ride quality will be as good . Is it important enough to you for the convenience of quick change of the shocks. it would be to me if I rode two up a lot. I have progressive 444 shocks that adjust from the top and I can adjust them with my saddle bags on. They ride pretty darn good.

I guess everyone, except hexnut, is missing the point!
a 1200T shock has a large **** that protrudes from the left shock that allows you to easily adjust preload with saddlebags attached. Cost of the shock is NOT THE ISSUE!!
the issue is ease of adjustment of preload with saddlebags on so I can go from solo to 2 up riding back to solo easy.
I want to thank hexnut as he was only responder that understood what I was trying to say
i guess I need to work on my communication skills

In any case, you could've called them to ask.
