I'm gonna keep track of my mpg. I'll let ya'll know after my 800 mile road trip.

We will see. I kinda ride like I stole it.
I ride the same way sometimes, but also find myself tooling along at 25-35 mph in heavy freeway traffic on the way home. I will be making a ride up to SF from Fullerton; we'll see how the gas mileage is after that.

Wouldn't you know it. I get around a steady 50 mpg/per tank. Now the reason I say this is because I only use regular 87 octane in my 883. What, with all this fuel economy, and the high price of gas, I should be saving even more money than you who use all that high octane stuff. Oh well. [8D]
How much are you paying for a gallon of petrol....over here it's about$10!

With the bike all dressed up; saddlebags, windshield, and sissybar with large rack somewhere around 40 mpg. Stripped down "naked" about 53 mpg. 90 octane is the best we get up here unless you blend in some 110LL avgas, at 2/1 the motor really gets happy. But I was told the avgas will dry up the seals so now I just add a packet of Rocket Fuel.

What's up with my bike! Suppose to be a 3.2 gallon tank and I get only 85-100 miles before turning reserve on. That is at best 35 mpg. '93 xlh 883 1200 conversion and open pipes.
