Hummm. Looks like I might have to rethink my agenda. Evansville is a fun town, but that would really just be getting started on my trip. Kinda soon to stop for the night. That's more of an up and back type of day trip.

Back to the altas for plan B.

I plan on going to Milwaukee to to the last of the 3 factory tours this summer... probaly will ride the Heritage since the Sporty is sorta promised to my gal uggh US 41 through Chicago has at least 1 million stop lights... I'd hop on the Bishop Ford, Dan Ryan and the Edens when you get there

Yeah, I'm pretty familiar with Chicago. I plan to stop there for a while. Get a good Chicago Style Pizza, then ride some back roads up along Lake Michigan into Milwaukee.

I travel to Milwaukee several times a year. Just that I usually fly into Chicago, this will be the first time I've made the trip on my bike.

I wouldn't stop in T.H. I lived there for a while and besides for a few college bars that probably wouldn't be too good this time of year there is nothing really there. Thats if you like the bar scene.... if you like tourist things on the other hand your out of luck there too! I would change your route a little bit and come down through Lafayette and weave your way down through bloomfield or Bloomington. Much better scenery, much more fun roads, etc. Alot of little small towns and no one is more accomidating and nice than a hoosier in a small town. Have a great ride!

HDWG my sister and one of my best friends lives in E'ville. Not a bad town at all.... I grew up in Petersburg/Vincennes... As a matter of fact I was just up there a few weeks ago. I took my buddy up to W Lafayette to pick up a pretty sweet 77 Honda 750 bobber. Anyway we stayed in Eville and had a great time. I forget how much fun IN is if you know the backroads.
