Left Turn Signal switch
Was out on the Spurstir the other day and my left turn signal switch took a crap. Its an 05, I guess it old, i dunno. How hard is it to change out? Anybody ever replce it themselves on here? It basically broke, as in the plastic button is ready to fall out. I have the chrome dash kit with the caps. Can the chrome cap be saved? can the world be saved? I dunno...

Yes you can. This is what it looks like inside the clamshell and there's the switch. You can replace it with a used one to save money and splice the wires back together. The shell will not have to be replaced.
Unscrew it and pull out the switch. You might be able to get away with just replacing the button as long as those plastic studs holding it in aren't broken (the piece that looks like a star).
