Very true indeed. Too many times I have heard or experienced this.

When I hear of this it always reminds me of an old movie. It goes "Badges, who needs badges"

I was reading a post the other day about someone removing the abs system and threw away parts before testing. Yeah they need to find some of the parts they threw away.

So far, the only help I have had was from my kids helping me lose nuts and bolts. The next step required spot welding the frame while the engine is bolted in to act as a jig... Removing the engine to complete the welds... Then re-installing the engine. I figured it would be best to have a bring-your-project to work day...










Did a little of the welding...


A job better left to the professionals... Devin did the majority of the welding...

I have a couple of those "helpers" myself. They put my tools in odd places, loose nuts and bolts, make ray guns out of "spare" parts (that I still need), etc....
