2013 1200C oil change???

2013 1200C oil change???
Hey guys:
I'm changing the oil on my wife's 2013 1200C. I've got the factory service manual, and one place says add 2 quarts and another says add 2.8 quarts.
Now what? And yes, I already RTFM.

You add two quarts start the bike and let the oil level stabilize. Then add oil till the level is half way on the dip stick. usually 2.8 quarts.
