Default "All I can say is, WOW!"

I admit it, I've been guilty of buying mods and then procrastinating when it comes to installing them. I guess scared of messing something up but, not wanting to pay the stealership. Well I received my Rush 3" baloney cut slip-ons w/ 1.75 baffles yesterday and installed them first thing this morning when I got finished with work. My inspiration to just do it now was being tired of having a Harley that's the quietest bike around. "So humiliating!"
I've watched several videos online to help choose the right exhaust and honestly I now think that was a waste of time. I never thought they'd sound like they do. Boy am I impressed!
"They freaking rumble in person and really bark with a flick of the wrist!"

I added my ViEDs a few days ago which now has me riding smoother. So I guess I'll be installing that Outlaw HiFlow 425 A/C and EB from DK the very next chance I get. I may have had them over a month now. LOL I know! I know!

So far this week has been so inspiring that, now I have this nagging suspicion that I'll soon need a PV, then having a Stage 2 done, then a Stage 3 and so on and so on. Even though I'm totally loving my bike already!

"But it's all good! I'm happier than a pig in poo for now!"

Congrats. I have been thinking about new exhaust for a while now. But there are so many options; I don't know what direction to go. Glad you are happy with your purchase.

Good to see you're enjoying modding your bike. There is a certain sense of accomplishment at doing things yourself...plus you get your bike more like you want it.

It's a slippery slope... but a fun ride.

Yes, yes and yes! I agree and thanks guys!

I clock out in a couple of hours so I parked early to cool her down, because as soon as I do, I'll be starting on the A/C. I just need to ask one question;

Should ViEDs with both slip-ons and a hiflow a/c installed be okay set on 50% or should I bump them to 60%?

Every bike is different on where the optimum setting is. I would start at 50%, and work my way up and down until I found where it runs best.

Okay! Thank you very much! Scared of remaining too lean.
Last night I noticed no shortage of decel popping after installing the slip-ons at 60%. Next time I head out, I'll drop her to 50%. For the record, I don't mind the DP. I think it just adds character and sounds meaner. Besides, I hear it's usually a good sign.

I've been riding a bit and my joy ride last night became as close to a panic attack as can be.
Before I run out to the dealer, I want to ask, if it's normal to get a check engine light after installing ViEDs, slip-ons and/or a hiflow A/C?
I'm guessing pretty likely with the ViEDs. I'm totally diggin my mods so far and would seriously hate to have to remove something.
