Default Biltwell Mongoose seat

I'm about to buy a new seat for my 883 Superlow. The Biltwell Mongoose seat sounds like a good choice in terms of price and look, especially the Tuck'n'roll model. Problem is there are not many photos/videos/information.

So, does anyone have this seat ? Is it comfortable ?
For those who don't does anyone have a better suggestion for a two-up seat with a reasonable price ?

Thanks everyone !

I have the Harley Sundowner. I don't have any other experience with seats for this bike. Everyone tells me it is one of the most comfortable. I agree; it is very comfortable for my wife and I. I have been looking at seats but am hesitant. I'd be pissed if I drop a couple hundred dollars for less comfort. I love the look of that Biltwell Mongoose. It would look great on my bike. If you get it, let me know!

It looks comfortable indeed! But for the look I think I'm more into low profile seats. Also to have as much leg room as possible. If I get the mongoose I'll drop a few pictures for sure ;}

I have the bitwell HB on my 72 and ridden it from east of DC to Cleveland ohio area several times. The wife can only last a few hours on the back as her section of the seat is only 4in wide.......we went to Myrtle Beach early in May and bought a Sundowner for that trip. It was a huge improvement for my wife, she had no complaints.

A few hours is better than nothing.. First time I rode my Harley was with my girlfriend, and she complained after 10 minutes. We had to stop 10 times on a 1h30 trip. I guess the HB is not that bad :P

How about you ? Do you feel comfortable ? Do you have more room for your legs or space from the gas tank ?

On the HB I have more leg room, when I kick my feet out on the forward controls my feet rest right above the heel.

On the sundowner, in the same position, my feet rest about 2in more up my leg when compared to the HB.

also seating position changed. I feel as it the sundowner pushes me towards the gas tank and I have more of a bend in my arms.

The sundowner has wayyyy more support for both me and the wife, but also looks super ugly on the bike. The seat is wide and bulky and takes away from the chopper vibe. Since it takes less then 5mins to swap seats, we use the sundowner for multi-day trips and the HB for daily riding and day trips.

You convinced me ! I already have the stock seat with a comfortable passenger seat for my partner so I'll use this one when it'll be required as you do.

I hope the mongoose is the same as the HB in terms of ergonomics.

Thanks for the info

The mongoose and the BH look pretty similar, looking at the spec sheets..the goose has a wide rear passenger section and more back support.
Only thing I would be worried about is if the back support pushes you forward to much.

I'm 24, 5'10 160lbs and wife is similar. Our resistance to discomfort maybe more than some.
