Ye cannae whack a string semmit and string under breeks fer keepin' oot the cauld oan a winter's nicht in the Scottish Highlands. Even the drunken Glaswegian sage that is Rab C Nesbitt wears a string semmit tae keep oot the cauld when he's sleepin' rough efter a night oan the swally.
