Do you guys know if these tires are taller than the stock Michelin tires?

I ordered the same size as OEM (2014 48) and the guy installing them is saying the rear does not clear my rear fender (10" Bitwell rigid struts).

 

Are you sure you ordered the same exact size as what you had? Emphasis on "what you had" cause I don't know if you bought this bike used and assumed it had an OEM tire. Would have to be pretty far off to not clear. Unless your previous tires was only a hair away from your fender.

 

I bought it brand new and haven't replaced the tires since.

At 6200 miles, my original rear tire was hurting so I can see the height difference.

The white walls look noticeably beefier too.
