my 2011 battery isnt charging while i ride and losing all power.(brand new good battery). is there an alternator or what else needs replacing?

 

test all relevant wire connections for shorts, ground issues, etc..., then look at the stator and regulator. Stator is in the primary. Regulator is the black thing on the front of the frame near your horn. Verify those things are bad before digging into the bike
