Default Lights on Saddlebags??

Hey guys. Have viking hard bags on the 883l. I also have the Moons integrated tail light. I removed the stock signals. The relocation bracket from Viking was garbage, the lines were junk from previous owner, and I didnt like the look of the stocks anyway. Well, the integrated is nice, but its not enough. I need to add something that will run both brake and signals. I don't need (want?) them to be running lights.

DK has these:

They look nice, and are just right in length for the bags, but the question comes in, are they bright enough for the day?? And where the hell do I hide the wiring? Also thought about the plasma rods from CD, but I think theyre too tall for my bags. You guys have any recommendations without adding the stock lights back??

Thanks. Can you tell me a little about these? You put them on your lids, and they do turn and brake?? I will research these as well. Thanks!

I fitted them to the lid, I have a plug that comes out of my hard bags. Just wired them to my brake light. I had turn signals already installed

Gotcha. Not sure that would work well for mine tho. There is a slight gap between my fender and bags. I'll try to get a pic later. I'll keep these in mind tho. Thanks!

Just options...instead of on the bags
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...bagger-83.html

Someone just posted a turn signal relo that sits close to the fender (not like the stock ones). You can always use something like a DK's RBT module without the run with any LED light. My saddlebag lights were single element two wire LED made for turn OR brake but used the module and now have RBT.

Just thoughts...good luck

Cool thanks. I will look into this. I like DK saddlebag lights and their fender light actually, but think I am probable in the same boat when it comes to visibility.
