I like retro, but NOT the looks of that vtwin. Sorry but nothing is appealing to me. If you are into the side valve era of bikes I guess you will love it. I used to work with a guy that had an RE 500 single. He would ride it to work on occasion, and he rode on the side of the road, where bicycles would, because he said it was so slow he was afraid to get into the traffic. Speed limit was 55 mph on that road. I would have gone with a small 350 Honda or similar that I could at least not worry of getting run over from behind.

That was around the year 2000 so hopefully they are a bit better now.

I agree . What a pointless contraption .

Kevin, no problem - doesn't take much to ship your bike over here! Mrs B and I shipped our Glide to Chicago a few years ago (and back home!). It's a darned sight easier now, as it has become more common. H-D has an approved shipper - if you ever feel tempted....

I did the 2018 and 2019 ride outs. Silverstone was good. Donington even better.

RE still not a fast bike, first of all due to it's chassis, but 90 km/h is not a problem at all.
