I have carried a tire plug kit like this ONE for years.

I've used it a couple of times. Plugs have been known to come out, especially when doing burn-outs (which I still do for fun), so upon getting home I did remove the tires and patch them from the inside, while leaving the plug in.

One tire I did this on is still in service, and the other one wore out and was replaced long ago.

Both were rear tires.

I have used the plastic T-handles and don't like them. One of them broke and almost skewered my hand so I am thinking of getting a better set made of metal or a professional set. Before I spend money there, I am curious what others think of the possibilities of it working well for the foreseeable future in a bike. Also since I have 3/32 of thread left, I am thinking it doesn't have much life left so to take it out and reinstall is a waste. Maybe I will activate the 2 tires I have coming. Way cheaper at Dennis Kirk than any shop I know of here.
