I've been interested in these pipes and been checking out the website. I thought it was odd when many models were "Out of Stock" but now it appears the whole category is gone. They offer the pipes for all other model bikes but not the Sportster. Anybody know what happened?

You can call them but they are going to tell you they have been discontinued for the Sportster.

 

Check out your own link. They don't have pipes for the Sportster only EFI Controllers.

I'm pretty sure the plant they are fabricated in burnt down. No plans of rebuilding, jigs lost in the fire. Vance and Hines possibly taking over. This is all hear say and I confirm none of it. Pretty positive about the fire, but who knows.

 

were the sportster ones made in a different shop from the rest? That's terrible about the fire

 

I'm not sure. I bought one new when they were 299 and scored a couple of used ones for $125-$150. One good thing about f book, guys ditching parts for cheap
