my 883 sportster 2002 struggles to start and warm up have to have the choke full out and then cuts out if you put the choke all the way in again after warmed up a bit, then pops and bangs a bit when you rev a bit , any ideas out there ???

 

low speed jet, clean it , actually replace it with a larger one.

Hello old chap. How long has it been doing this, is it recent? Done any mods of late? How old is the battery? All manner of things can cause problems like that, for example your battery not charging properly. Give us some more info to get our teeth into!
