Hey does anyone know what the difference might be for the seat and fender set up of an 09 nightster and 2010 48? I like the low profile look of these passenger pillions but was told they won't fit

That sounds like a blessing! Would you want to be taken for a ride on one of those?! Take a look at the Shop tab on the H-D website, where you will see a more suitable looking pad. If you want to carry a passenger get a decent seat that is going to be comfortable. We're allowed as many seats as we fancy, so you can swap them around from solo to duo.

 

Not long for something for long rides. Just a pillion to go with the passenger pegs. Something a broad I pick up at a bar can get by on. The other pillions are too fat for the look of you my bike.

 

My $.02 is that you can probably make it work. I recently put a solo seat on my 2011 Iron that wasn't supposed to fit. Technically it didn't, but 2 minutes with a rat tail file and it did. YMMV
