Hello, HD Forum


I just picked up this luggage rack (link below) and somehow it doesn't fit my sideplates (also link provided below). The rails where it mounts are too wide to go in to the sideplates if that makes sense. I checked my parts catalog and the HD website and according to both they will fit a rigid sideplate which I have. Anyone know if I'm missing anything here? TIA.

You did not mention the yr/model of your bike. By any chance is it a CX. Figment tab on luggage rack stated it would not fit that model

 

They are rigid side plates. I think the others are detachable side plates. Any way there are two different racks one is wider than the other.

 

ahh yes my mistake. It's a 2009 XL1200L
