Default RE: Adjustable shocks

If you're looking to lower the rear of the bike, the easiest way is to purchase shorter shocks. You need to start by measuring the length of your existing shocks from center of eye to center of eye with no load on the bike. Then order a replacement set an inchor more shorter. Don't forget to allow for enough room to keep from hitting the exhaust and kick stand when cornering. Most people sem to go 1 - 1.5" shorter. It shouldn't cause any significant handeleing problems as long as you don't go so low you start dragging something.
