Default replacing foot pegs question

I want to replace the footpaegs on my 05 custom but there seems to be no clear way to remove the existing pegs. there is no nut and bolt type thing. Ideas?

Look at the other end of the foot peg pin, it has a small circlip, take that off then slide the pin.

geez, that was easy. I wish I hadn't used up my obvious question of the day. I now need to figure out how to remove my oil tank cover.

Grab the bottom edge and pull gently out and up.
