[QUOTE=DK Custom;16035110]If you have a high flow filter element for your stock air box...all you need to do is cut away some of the plastic to let air get to the filter element easily, and then install an External Breather System (EBS) and you're good to go.

Thanks! I didn't know about the breather. Can I buy a cover that will fit the stock back plate with the extra holes? so I don't have to cut the stock one

Consider the patriot defender exhaust. It allows you to adjust volume, by way of a gate that when closed directs the flow through the baffles, giving you pretty much stock sound, and when open it's pretty much straight through. I put a fabbed bracket and choke cable on mine, which gets me past the neighbors, keeping them happy, but I can open up on the road, and reset when I come home, and there's a write up at Hammer performance on the horsepower gain opposed to a lot of other exhaust systems. It's a great set of pipes.

Update... I went with the Vance and Hines slip on with quiet baffles. Got the from Dk customs. I also tried installing a high flow (K&N RK-3943 Intake System) but broke the back plate and damaged the rubber cone. I also got the vh fuel pak but i need to get the air cleaner sorted out first..

Sorry,

Did not see your question til just now.

The only cover I know of that fits the stock backplate is the stock cover.

Here is a LINK to some inexpensive, but very good performing air cleaners.
