I have Vance & Hines straight shot slip ons on my 48. If I put tti'so in them, should I remove the baffles? Still running game stock a/couple and ing.

I have SE 11's on my 12 and took the baffles out and it made a really good difference in sound and performance, Check with the guys @ DK customs they'll give you the best advice

You can do both. Check the DK website for a comparison. Also has a synopsis comparison I believe? I'd link it but I'm on a phone.

It really depends on how you feel about the loudness of the pipes with the baffles removed. I would suggest removing the baffles and see how you like the sound. Adding TTI's will only change the tone but not the loudness. Also, the size of the TTI's you order really depend on if you have baffles or not.

Removing the baffles will not make it better. Only louder from an already loud set. The TTI will add the needed back pressure from straight pipes. It will alter the sound and could alter the volume to some degree. To be frank, removing the baffles from the V&H seems like a total waste. But, hey, that's just me.

1200 with Short Shots and baffles removed added TTIs great sound with Awesome torque. I also removed the belt and installed a 530 chain which was a combo I should not have done due to the fact it is way to hard to stay on the seat.

Well the size of the TTI's, is determined buy the pipe size, and by taking the baffles out and adding the T's it WILL be louder. You can adjust the degree of them to give the sound level and tone. Mine are LOUD and powerful sounding and I love it. I'm old school, Harley's were known to be loud, and now my 1200 sounds like A 1200
