Default Rear Brake Master Cylinder

Helping a friend bring a '96 1200 Custom back to life. Changing all the fluids, of course and have issues with the rear brake M/C.

I'm trying to figure how to get the lid off the M/C. Seems the exhaust pipe is in the way, when trying to remove the rear screw.

How do I do it? Loosen the exhaust pipe? Move the M/C?

First time for me. I need help.

Thanks in advance,
Virginia Dan

Loosen the exhaust pipes. Use a bungee to hold out of the way a couple of inches.
