But didn't you say there wasn't any power at the plug when the lights were on?

 

I agree, that part was wrong. I switched and got no change. The problem is there is no power before it even makes it to that point.

I ended up taking this to the stealer. Apparently, the instructions are wrong. Shocker. The technician played with some of the other connectors and made it work.

 

Go figure
