Sorry if this doesn't go here but I ride a sportster

WTF is it with New Hampshire and their ez-pass system? I have it on my car but decided I'd throw it on my backpack and go for a ride. I haven't been on my bike at all this year and figure'd I would take it out. Well upon arriving at a toll, I rolled through and it didden't work. I should have kept riding, instead I stopped. The crotchety old guy came out yelling at me saying I have to pay. I tried to tell him I had a ez-pass in my backpack. Well he yelled at me, "tape the thing to your helmet" I replied with a few explatives, took the sensor out of the backpack it registered, I told him a few more times what he could do with himself, and took off.

What the F..K is it with society today where nobody can take 2 seconds to explain or help someone! All I wanted to do was throw the sensor at this guy and take off. Probably why I should stick with riding in my car now. Sorry I had to get that out. I have no idea what to do about the sensor, aside from carry coins on me instead but then what's the point of paying for the ez-pass?

First ride of the season, basically a stressfull one. I hate NH.
Buy a map and avoid the toll roads and enjoy the scenery of roads less traveled.

Since that's all we pay (property taxes) it helps take the sting out in my opinion. Plus, we have good school systems in nh which are benefited by our high property taxes. I have two small children, so this directly benefits me, which is probably why I don't bitch ALL the time about paying 9g's a year.

However, taxes aside, I absolutely love the great state of NH. I believe it to be one ofthe very last bastions of freedom in this country.Hopefully the gaining liberal popluation doesn't screw that up.

Live Free or Die.

Taxes! Your out of your ****ing mind! How do you figure paying any taxes for that matter! 5k for taxes, hell my father in-law is paying 8k in taxes! TAXES! Wake the **** up, it's no bargain in NH!

Oh believe me, I wouldn't argue, I pay enough in "taxes" why the **** should I even have to bother with the sleazy-pass! I would have loved to have driven through the toll booth and said **** it, but I decided to be honest and nice, and look what that got me. Another earful from another bitter and angry ol dried up **** from New England.

NH is not the greatest state, then again I don't know what is. I will say though that we pay through the *** in taxes, take a look further south at property and taxes, it's alot less, even out west, for what I will spend in 350k for a house, I could have for 155k! Think about it...
Kao
The bottom line is.... you should've made him say thank you.

Here's some home work to show the Nations State Tax burdon rating
I'd say NH isn't so bad after all, even if she's not the greatest.

I think I'd be upset too if I paid $350K for a house worth $155K
You should set the goal of Buy low and sell high.

I have a toll tag for my bike, but I never carry it. They read the license plate and look it up anyways. If it has a toll tag, they charge it to the account. Hell, the toll boths dont even pick up my bike. I have yet to see a charge to the account for my bike and I haven't received any bills for it either. Just go through them, no need to stop on a bike!!!!

"Sounds like the toll collector has an issue. if you were heading north you should have stopped off at the liquor store on i93 and bought some booze if it stressed you out that bad.

also

[:@]If you hate NH so much move the F-out. "

Yep, I'd expect nothing but a comment like that from someone else living in this state. It seems that themajority of New Englanders are angry and pissed off.I'd love to but there's a few things like jobs, spouse's job etc etc. Not so easy, or so I've been told. No, instead we're selling our place to move to a bigger place.... still in New England [:'(][:@][>:]. Yes im bitching, but that's the only thing I can do for now and it's somewhat helping.

I did register every vehicle including my motorcycle. I've had the pass not register in the past and never got a notice in the mail, or even charged for it. Not that I like to make a habit out of doing that. I even email'd the DOT/speedpass people, goin on 5 months now, no reply, it's a complete joke. Even went as far as to draft a letter and snail mail it into the gov's office. All I got was a BS generic letter and never heard from them since.
Could I ask pray tell what great state you hail from that NH is such an awful place?

You're starting to be a dumbass.

Property tax is high in NH....yes I agree. But in case you never noticed...you pay no sales tax and you pay no state income tax.

Do the math.
