Default 1993 Base Gasket Replacement

Im about to do a base gasket replacement on both the front and rear jugs. Do i have to replace any other gaskets during installation? Im new to working on motorcycles but not to working mechanically. Thanks for your input.

you will have everything from the base up ... head gaskets, rocker box gaskets, intake and exhaust gaskets, and O-rings on the pushrod tubes ... first thing you need is a factory service manual for your year and model, it holds a wealth of information

If you don't have one an FSM is essential and don't cut corners, get the proper Harley one, not a cheap 'copy'. Buy a top end gasket set, which includes everything you will need, as mentioned by Freedom above.

Yes for sure Harley service manual required. Cometic Gasket makes a fantastic top end kit.
