Default What size trailer do I need? 2 bikes

What is the minimum size open trailer I'd need for two sportys, or one and a street bike?

Maybe try parking in the driveway and get an idea of how much room you'll need.
Chalk and measure around the bikes.

Chalk is cheaper than buying the wrong size trailer.

You can also rent a uhual one after you measure it out and do a test fit on it. I am planning to do this when I get to the trailing the bikes. I have a Softail and a Sporty so it should be fun.

My BIL and I get two Dynas in a 6 x 10 V Nose. But it's a real PITA...

I have a 6 x 12 enclosed and easily haul 2 bikes (staggered). open trailer you may be able to get away with something smaller

Yah there is a good deal on a 6x9 open trailer around the corner from me... That's why I ask.

I've put two Softails in a 6x12 enclosed, not a V-nose. A Softail and a Sportster as well as a Dyna Switchback with a Sportster. Staggered, is the key. I can't imagine using one less than 6' wide.
Switchback and Sportster, with a little room to spare for riding gear and support equipment (that's our scuba dive bag in front of the red Switchback):
