Default Exhaust Work: Will I need to rejet\adjust carbs?

I have a question for you guys. I have Vance and Hines Straight pipes and want to shorten them. They can unbolt and it sounds a little better shortened (my buddy and I wanted to see if they would be louder if shortened after a few beers). The pictures compare the normal length and shortened where I'd want it. I was also planning on wrapping the short section if I decide to go short. I want to know if both shortening and wrapping the pipes would require a carb rejet or tune. I've heard wrapping the pipes changes the temperature an therefore the pressure, but didn't know if it was necessary on such a short pipe. Thanks in advance.

Ya coulda cleaned yer shoes! As for your settings, I suspect you will! You are going to end up with drag pipes, so best of luck getting them to run well.
