They are for use with throw-over saddlebags, to support each bag and keep them from rubbing against the shocks. No idea what brand the frames are, but you should be able to use them with any brand of throw-overs.

I agree with grbrown, they are very common, generic bag supports and protectors. Any throw over bags will work keeping them free of getting sucked in or tangled with the rear wheel.
Exactly what everyone else said.
I had the same set on my Sporty and they are great for old school leather saddle bags, mine were a little modified so that I could keep the docking hardware.
Might be a nasty ride for the passenger, but it looks like he's just using the backrest as a sissy bar with a storage bag on the rack.
I don't necessarily disagree, but it takes away from the solo look. If he (or she, as the case maybe) uses a 2 up seat, I would leave it on the bike. Other wise, lose the backrest. Just my opinion, as it is a good looking bike.
Back rest and passenger foot pegs, with just a fender bib. I would hate to be the bitch on that ride!
First date with my wife, that's how she rode on the Vulcan 1600.....but no backrest.
Rode all over Houston from the suburbs to downtown .
Best first date ever.
